The Company’s history started when the owner, Edyta Szczekocka, decided that she wanted to graduate from The school of Design and Textile Manufacture in Poland. Post graduation, she began to work in various companies using her abilities, creativity and the sense of fashion, and grow her reputation as a designer. Initially working designing shoes, she moved on to supervising a children’s bed sheets factory, and then also worked for a company designing and making men’s shirts. But while these jobs were ok, and paid her way, they were not allowing her to develop her quirky side of design to develop.
Then….. everything changed! Edyta was offered a job as the head designer for a lingerie company. Pretty soon she discovered that this is exactly what she had wanted, to design beautiful lingerie and garments for women, but with an eye on the eccentric, and also a little erotic and kinky!
But, even though Edyta was growing as a lingerie designer, the company she was working with were a little too conservative, she wanted to concentrate on fun! So, taking a very brave move, in 2013 she launched ME SEDUCE. Edyta could now express herself fully in all her own designs and styles without any limits or restrictions and customers loved them! They even became an XBIZ Europa Awards winner, after being a nominee for three years.
The garments themselves are hand-made in Me Seduce’s own factory in Zabreze in central Poland by some seriously skilled workers, using hand-cutting, sewing and craft skills. A lot of care is taken to produce some intricate clothes and accessories.
The images below show some of the fine skills required to make the belts and outfits. The attention to detail, and choice of materials is fundamental to Me Seduces hand-made garments, and this is particularly evident with the over-arching quality and design which their customers cherish.
Alterego started its relationship as Distributor with Me Seduce in 2014, and the brand has grown in popularity ever since.
